The countryside of the Istrian peninsula is a treasurу of ethnological and cultural heritage. Spread out in the hinterlands overlooking the coastal city of Koper, on a ridge of craggy hills, lies the village of Lopar. In the past, most of the villagers were farm-workers and winegrowers.
